Once again this week, Phoebe Philo impressed us : throwing a wonderful (though really expensive – 1350€) touch of excentricity on the classic minimalist Celine SS2012 collection! Burberry Prorsum goes African Style for SS 2012: the entire line is available on their website! I tried on the eclectic blue print t shirt (above right) yesterday at Kabuki and just loved it (can’t afford a 300€ tee though…)! But the line is just a blast! Love the way they’ve integrated African traditional patterns in their designs… It even makes me think of Theophilus London retro style! Balenciaga SS 2012 Men line

It’s been a while we haven’t talk about Balenciaga. Indeed, we’ve been impressed by Balenciaga’s SS 2012 collection (see the pics attached) for men : from the fine leather pieces (notably the wonderful camel leather jacket above) to elegant and well cut blazers, reefer jackets and suits! The timeless red officer and the navy blue are still omnipresent: either you consider we’re on the military fashion trend or you think these colors have just become essential for brands like Balenciaga!
