West coast staple streetwear brand Stussy appointed the editor in chief of Sneeze Magazine, to shoot his favorite places. Introducing Études Studio
Études is a studio established in 2012 by french artists Aurélien Arbet & Jérémie Egry and works as a collective, based in both Paris and New York. It is the evolution of the clothing brand Hixsept, which we already liked a lot, and the publishing house JSBJ. Études designs and produces men’s contemporary fashion, artist books and offers its creative services to various clients. Pretty cool in my opinion !! Tom Ford FW 2013 Lookbook
This time again, the photographs of Tom Ford’s FW 2013 collection speak for themselves… A dapper line as usual!! I can’t wait anymore for the moment I’ll have enough cash to get myself my first Tom Ford suit! Let’s go back to reality: the collection gathers not less than 20 elegant silhouettes made of suits (obviously…), colored tuxedo jackets or even fur coats so just help yourself!
Prada “Real Fantasies” Lookbook FW 2012
Prada has just released their “Real Fantasies” Lookbook for upcoming Fall/Winter season. Following the success of their last lookbook for men SS2012, Prada plays it creative again : we like the pop-up scrap book of inspiration behind the collection, featuring the models wearing the most stand out designs from the collection. Prada projects the future of fashion as a retrofitted past! Each scene of this far-fetched lookbook depicts astonishing galactic landscapes, red beams of light and geometric shapes! Prada is getting hotter and hotter season after season. Read the rest of this entry »
Introducing Zoe Karssen
Founded in Amsterdam in 2010 the Zoe Karssen collections can best be described as easy to wear, tongue in cheek styles for the cool girls in town. Launched by design duo Zoe and Quince Karssen, the brand aspires to reinterpret and modernise the cool easy to wear tees and sweats. Simplicity is the key, mixing themes and references from rock’n roll to fashion, famous icons and quotes and with a distinct emphasis on popular culture. I love the spirit and the oversized cuts. Grungy but classy. Read the rest of this entry »
Introducing Filles à Papa
Filles a papa is the artistic project of two belgian designers : Sarah ‘the Blond’ and her sister Carole ‘the Brunette’. They just launched their 6th Collection for FW2012 with a chic, deconstructed, sportwear-sourced collection that remains glamorous and really sexy. Like they say, “Filles A Papa was created for the Flirtatious yet Serious Shopper”. Their first drawings were thrown on canvas back in 2009 and now the collection has pieces that flirt with the Las Vegas style mixed with the Sportswear of Los Angeles but is much associated with the seducing nights of Ibiza straight to your straw that’s sinking in your Mojito from Barcelona. Quite a program ! Well. I love the model, the over-sizing, the cosy feel and the chic grungy look ! (SHOP) Read the rest of this entry »
Thom Browne Resort 2013 Runway Looks
Thom Browne isn’t known for his commercial approch to fashion. He’d rather put giant whales on a jacket and cut it way too short than release something too easy to assume. So I was pretty stunned when I heard he was debuting a resort collection for 2013, which is normally a sales-oriented collection. Still, it doesn’t lack some Brownean subversion and, well, Jessica Stam looks so good. Whale bones and carcasses mixed with floral jacquards, pastel madras, and embroidered lace, fashioned into modest skirts and worn under printed silk peignoirs or Browne’s signature tailored jackets. Many of the fabrics are sourced in Japan and most of them are custom-developed. Pumps worn with matching socks or plain white socks along with new frames make the looks very coherent with our beloved Browne. Full lookbook after the break. Read the rest of this entry »
Introducing Reed Krakoff Spring 2013 Lookbook
Graphic, sculptural and born from a unique vision of modern style, the Reed Krakoff collection is marked by a new approach to design, where luxury and utility are interpreted across a full line of ready-to-wear, handbags and accessories, shoes and jewelry… Some of the looks remind us of French mythical brands such as Chloé or Céline in the choice of colors and the minimalist silhouette! I see a bright future for Reed Krakoff on the fashion scene! Link Read the rest of this entry »
Opening Ceremony Fall/Winter 2012 Collection Lookbook
Opening Ceremony’s lookbook for Fall/Winter 2012 is modeled by boxer Eric Ramos and displays how easy it is to dress for next winter. Traditional cold weather fabrics like wool and flanel in olives burgundys and greys, with camo prints and “urban-hiking” boots to add that little hipness. I feel that the inspiration is still very military with the blackwatch trench and the cargo pants. Note the very nice looking boots on the picture hereabove, which could be a great addition for an extreme winter! Full lookbook after the break! Read the rest of this entry »
