Céline FW2010 Lookbook

Céline is just simple elegance. I really love what Phoebe Philo offers has the artistic director of Céline ! Fur, camel and dark blue. Blue, yellow, green and red touches. But not too much. Just what is required not to be considered too classic. What is worth noticing too is the perfect use of layering on some pics. Please, check it after the break. Read the rest of this entry »

The Brooklyn Circus’ new fall collection for 2010 is presented in a great lookbook made by the Madbury Club fashion collective. Don’t stop at the cool autumn/vintage film effect on the photos and admire the cardigans and varsity jackets as well as the successful use of bowties and foulards on more casual outfits. Maje FW 2010 Lookbook

Here is in a few pics why I love Maje. The inspiration obviously comes directly from the bigest names of the fashion industry but it has its own style, its own identity. Camel coats and blazers, leather – a lot of – in black and red, leopard prints, great booties, and a lovely use of textures and transparency. Defintitely a success, I can see it in the eyes of Vanessa Traina who is the model for the lookbook and fyi the daughter of Danielle Steel, one of the most read writers in the world. Ralph Lauren FW2010 Video Lookbook

I finally found this video of Ralph Lauren’s lookbook for this fall. If you were to have only one reference this fall, it should be this video. Except maybe the trench coat to play tennis, because it may make you lose the game… See the video after the break. Read the rest of this entry »

Standalone high-end division of Brooks Brother called “Black Fleece” just unveiled the FW 2010 releases and it is lovely. Here is the second serie of shots for the Dior Homme FW 2010 collection from Karl Lagerfeld and featuring Oleg Antosik. The latter mirrors some aspects of the iconic military figures of the 50’s and 60’s and still gives the upcoming line a present day look. Brooks Brothers Fall 2010 Lookbook

Brooks Brothers Fall 2010 collection reminds me how much I love Oxford shirts. These button-down oxford shirts from BB are now offered in a new extra slim proportion and feature vintage details including flap-closing pockets and as always this charming logo on the chest. Brooks Brothers re-introduces some classic waistcoats as well as narrow ties in collegiate-inspired stripes for our greatest pleasure. See pictures… Read the rest of this entry »

Crooks And Castles Fall 2010

Hip-Hop inspired, hollywood established brand Crooks And Castles (http://crooksncastles.com/) happily comes up with a more classic line for this fall. It’s grey, it’s blue, it’s tartan-like and it’s quite impressive. Less bling-bling is sometimes the price to pay to survive… Read the rest of this entry »

To me, this is why Sandro is the best fashion company for both men and women. Inspired by the most famous runaways all over the world, Sandro creates hundreds of fine everyday clothes. Maybe too much fur in this collection, but the Camel (from Chloé), the marine blue (from Burberry)… Read the rest of this entry »
