Carlsberg invited us a few days ago to have us discover L’Atelier des Artistes near République in Paris. The place is a restaurant, lounge, bar and even has a screening room and a private “Danish suite”. L’atelier des Artistes is a complex yet successful combination of modern art, gastronomy and nordic inspiration. The venue is actually pretty big: the restaurant on the ground floor, which we have yet to try, looks very promising. Downstairs, we loved all the design furniture and whole atmosphere of the bar. I invite you to go check it out by yourself! Continue reading

The Jane Hotel in New-York | US Tour

For our first night in New -York, I decided to stay at the Jane Hotel in the Meatpacking district of Manhattan. My room was just a tiny cabin with a small bed and just enough place for mu luggage ! Bathroom were down the corridor… The place however is amazingly old fashioned and very hip. We tried the lounge bar, the Jane Ballroom, which serves as a club too and let me tell you that this is a hell of a place ! High ceilling, velvet chesterfield sofas, hot girls dancing on the tables. The bar is set pretty high for the rest of our trip! Continue reading

Aqua Bar and Restaurant London | Saturday Night Dinner

Aqua used to be one of my favorite hotspots in London to have a nice dinner (either Spanish or Japanese) then a drink in the same place: A fantastic Japanese (Aqua Kyoto) and Spanish (Aqua Nueva) restaurant at high heights with a classy bar area with a sexy sheek ambience and the cocktails are extremely inventive (and affordable). A dim lit, romantic venue for an intimate evening date. It also has a beautiful outside buzzing veranda area that looks over Regent Street and Oxford Circus! Simply a blast to hang out after spending the day watching olympic games…   Continue reading

Harry’s New-York Bar in Paris

Harry’s Bar in Paris is one of those underrated hotspots that should have a place of choice in your bar rotation. Located around the Opéra Garnier, it is the oldest cocktail bar in Paris and has already lived more than a century! The decor is simply mythical and they serve some crazy hotdogs ! In other words, the perfect place for a cosy yet noisy evening! (5 Rue Daunou  75002 Paris, France)
