Just look at it. Just look at its sporty nose, its awesome wheels and its side lines. We had the priviledge to test drive the new Mercedes-Benz CLA for a day before it even went publicly available. I’ve had many rides to play with since I got my driver’s licence already but I can’t even start describing the fun and pride we had driving around with the CLA. Was it the gear shifts on the stearing ? The 7-speed automatic transmission ? The powerful 220 CDI ? The comfort ? The electronics inside ? Actually all of them in a single aerodynamic, predatory, angry looking beast is what makes this car a dream ride for us. I believed the Mercedes CLA would have a tough challenge of seducing a younger audience but it looks like it won’t be that difficult after all !! Recent weeks have shed light on a seemingly widly spread tax fraud among our politician elite. Although I’m sure some of them are stupid enough to wire money online to off-shore tax heavens, I myself really like the idea of a physical cash deposit/transfer using a good old fashion crocodile briefcase (or trunk if you got lots of cash…). First thing first, we got to clear a very common mistake : there is a frequent confusion between crocodile and alligator skin. Basically, the former can be used as an overarching term, as the family of crocodiles encompasses both true crocodiles and alligators, as well as some other species. What both crocodile and alligator leather have in common though is the long and complex process of tanning, finishing and sewing the skins. On a brief stop in London last week, I took the time to sit at Busaba Eathai like I do everytime I go to London. And again, I simply loved it. The rather dark, woody, candled restaurant near Berkeley Square is just what you need from a good Thai restaurant. And then the food itself is super good. As usual I took a very spicy curry duck with sticky rice while my homie took some sort of wok with chicken. Tasty to the eye ! So if you finf yourself in London, I advise you to try the place out !!
