Although I’m not a huge champagne fan, I admit there’s a special charm that only a fine bottle of champagne adds to the table. La Clique’s artist André Saraiva has teamed with champagne professional Fabien Gay and media entrepreneurs Fabien Moreau and Alexandre Sap to launch Artéis & Co last fall. The bottle is just superb with its black and gold look and the little French tough on the cap. Most of the bottles have probably disapeared by now unfortunately but hopefully, I’ll be lucky and find myself a couple!Read More

Sometimes, the confined atmoshpere of a Parisian restaurant just won’t make the cut. You wan’t something bigger, with more room to breath, with more comfy seats. With space. And for that, you might have to rush just outside of Paris to the Cité du Cinéma where you can eat at the B.O. restaurant. After walking through a gigantic glass hall, you eventually arrive at a vast open space. I must admit right away that the B.O. has the hottest waitresses I’ve seen in a restaurant in 2013. If that’s not a good enough excuse already, you just have to take a look at the menu below. So many credible and delicious options. I wouldn’t advise you against anything! First class service and quality brasserie twist. That’s all I’m praying for!Read More

Many of us are still looking for the perfect Christmas gifts, that’s why your favorite blog is feeding you everyday with a selection of gift ideas to make your friends and family happy. Let us then introduce a young quality brand: Shinola, a Detroit-based company dedicated to producing American-made products, including watches, bicycles, leather goods, journals, shoe polish, and even cola.
“The world thinks of Detroit as supercool right now because there’s a sense of grittiness and toughness, but there’s also a sense of excitement and optimism here,” says Daniel Caudill, Shinola’s creative director, who has overseen the opening of both Shinola boutiques—one in Detroit and the recently opened shop in N.Y.C.’s Tribeca. As a matter of fact, Shinola launched their collection in France in collaboration with Colette Paris. Check out our selection of their best leather goods below and add that on your list to your Santa before it’s too late!Read More

I’ve decided I wouldn’t spend my next few week-ends running across Paris to find the perfect Christmas gifts, should it be for me or for my beloved ones. Instead, I would just seat behind my desk at home in my PJ and take advantage of some online resellers’ free shipping policies! I’ve started with Mr Porter, which you shouldn’t be surprised about if you’re a regular of this blog. We dudes don’t have much choice when it comes to online shops for proper menswear. If it weren’t for Mr Porter, I’d be short a few shirts and scarves and ties and shoes in my weekly rotations! Stay tuned for daily “wishlist” items in fashion, design, books, skincare, watches and many more until we reach Christmas day!
