Tassel Loafers | Ralph Lauren Purple Label
You know what could dress-up any casual summer pant, should it be a chino or a short ? This pair of Ralph Lauren Tassel Loafers could do it with honnors. There are some pairs every man should have and I believe a durable classic pair of loafers is without any doubt. From what I can tell judging by my pair of RL wingtips, is that the quality and detailing is simply perfect. Introducing Bobbies, the Parisian Mocassin maker
Bobbies… Does that ring a bell ?? Yes, it does, well it should! I found out about this typical Parisian shoe brand a few days ago as a friend of mine intended to buy a pair of mocassins. I am now convinced that a promising future is looming ahead for that young brand!
Founded by two Parisians in love with driving moccasins, Bobbies actually offers a non-conformist take on these fashionable shoes. Guided by a French flair that immerses offbeat within an up-market universe, Bobbies has succeeded in combining a multitude of colors with energetic cuts to offer a casual and fresh style to urban men and women. Inspiring cheer, elegance and sunshine, the pelican naturally stood out as the emblem of the brand.
These affordable high-end shoes are to compete with Tod’s mocassins in terms of style but also of quality, so I highly recommend you to purchase your pair on Bobbies website before it floods all the sunshine capital around the world. What girls will also delighted to discover the women line made up of nice and colored ballerinas. Read the rest of this entry »
JIL SANDER TWO-TONE BROGUES
We spotted this funny unisex pair of Jil Sander two-tone Brogues in Pink on a guy off to Lanvin Fashion Show in Paris two weeks ago.
Since then, I was looking for this model and I finally found it on Net-a-porter.com. The flashy colors of the sole is an easy clue for an erudite person… I directly thought about Jil Sander about which we already spoke about (here) for its minimalist style.
Anyway, Jil Sander gives here the classic brogue a modern makeover with this orange-heeled black leather style. It also exists in yellow and pink-heeled, check out the pics after the break. And, paradoxically enough, it will perfectly suit both men and women as long as you dare to wear them!! Read the rest of this entry »

JIMMY CHOO MEN AW 2011 DEBUT
It maybe one of the most expected launch of 2011 : Jimmy Choo debuts its men’s collection around June later this year and from what we can see, the Jermyn Street embassadors can be worried ! The brand teases some incredible boots as well as slippers and monk shoes. “Fusing modern British style with luxurious Italian craftsmanship, the Men’s debut footwear collection has a Mod aesthetic with a hint of a 1960s Mayfair playboy. A perfect balance between classicism and Rock ‘n Roll style, this versatile collection covers several moods of getting dressed with more formal styles such as lace-ups, loafers, slippers and rugged masculine boots. Trainers appear in both subtle and more eccentric materials.” It’s just as if the shoes were shouting my name ! I’m really looking forward to see them in real and try them on !
