Embracing the brand’s distinctly American aesthetic, the clean upper is goodyear welted to a lightweight micro-sole that is proudly produced in the brand’s red-white-and-blue color scheme. It’s been a long time since we didn’t post any upper-shoes. Those Crockett and Jones Ghillie represent a wonderful mix of my beloved Ralph Lauren longwings and a pair of tassel loafers which is my possible next purchase. I just love their look, between a very classic oxford last and something closer to red-neck sandals. I love that they are rather rare too. That adds to their natural charm. Fortunately, the weather in Paris is still pretty sunny and I’m not to worried about my dress shoes options to go working. But it’s never too early to get prepared when it comes to upper-shoes.
