The undeniably rising American designer Mark McNairy has been feeding the news feeds of the blogosphere for weeks now with teasers of the New Amsterdam Spring/Summer 2012 collection. People are really obsessed with his original shoes and now with the clothes that come with. It’s American classic menswear completely revisited with a new and very personal twist. Isaia is born in the 50s in Napoli, Italy, and has since always conveyed the italian sartorial tradition at its best. The Isaia man “loves to love, loves to be noticed and isn’t afraid to stand out”. He’s stylish and his style says he gives a damn. He’s self-confident and convincing. He’s almost arrogant. The Isaia guy wears double-breasted jackets and all sorts of Scottish-like checks. Many of you now know that I suffer from frequent fashion obsessions that I only care with an extremely dangerous diet that consists in not eating for a month or two so that I can afford the garment in question. The danger with my latest obsession so far is that I’d surely die before sparing enough money to even afford one sleeve of it. I mean one sleeve of a Burberry Prorsum tailored camel coat. FB Collection | Timeless game and style on the beach

I know we are in the very middle of Summer and it is maybe the ultimate time to kit for the beach. Let’s look at the other side of the Altlantic, at the foot of Christ the Redeemer atop Corcovado. Founded by two young men Harry Brantly and Max Leese in Rio de Janeiro in the summer of 2005 with the the launching of Lopes Mendes Frescobol beach bats, FB Collection draws its inspiration from this Brazilian name for the sport played non-stop along the beaches of Brazil since the 1940s. Peter Blake x Fred Perry : When pop art meets fashion

Fully dedicated to the Pop Art culture,  Peter Blake is internationally known for having designed nearly everything from Swatch watches to greatly famous 1967 Beatle’s Sgt Pepper album cover. In 1961, he painted Self-Portrait with Badges in which the artist was wearing a badge-spattered jeans jacket over a red Fred Perry polo shirt with distinctive striped collar (see below).This was no more than the premise for a collaboration on a limited edition of polo shirts.
