Barbour escalates the hype ladder and we can observe a resurgence of the iconic Barbour jacket in the street from both hip early adopters to the more traditional clusters of the society. I’m not sure I can explain such resurrection but I sure comes from the UK. The jacket has become so common there that it is almost an institution. As you may know, Bape is currently making a lot of collaboration with “Star Wars” or even 10 Corso Como Seoul but our preference goes to Bape x Comme Des Garçons! The two Japanese brands made a really job mixing Comme Des Garçons’ Play Collection and Bape’s ape!  The collection is not out yet but will be soon! Ovadia & Sons remains one of the greatest source of inspiration in the #menswear industry after releasing their Fall Winter 2012 collection a few days ago. As long as the Ovadia brothers drop the cutaway collars, large jacket lapels, tassel loafers and flannel pants, they’ll be featured on this blog. No matter how sad and frustrating it is not being able to see the clothes outside the US, we still recommend the brand. Go for it guys, check out the extensive lookbook after the break ! Goyard, the luxurious Parisian luggage maker founded in 1853, somehow manages to stay hip. The monogramming is easy to spot but the custom made program will let you create the format and color scheme you want so that it’s unique. Their tote is one of the most fought for bags in the galaxy but I’d rather go for a large pouch / portfolio like the one hereabove. I simply fear going to the store because I know this could be potentially dangerous for my bank account. No need to say that they propose some amazing trunks too. Pocket squares are one of the most defining details for men. Although I don’t usually wear one, I like to know that I can put one of Rubinacci’s amazing pocket squares if needed. It’s a sort of safety net. I wouldn’t buy something else than a Rubinacci pocket square and I believe no one should. I mean they have no competition. Even Hermès pocket squares don’t look that good ! I just bought one of their five designs called the Victory which shows Nelson Admiral’s ship with the message “England expects that every man will do his duty.” For the story, the admiral was on a mission in Napoli during the Fall of 1793. On his trip, he met the wife of a British ambassador, Emma Lyon, with whom he had an intense sentimental relationship. The pocket square shows his ship off Napoli’s coast, surrounded by four Cupid angels. I believe you can’t go wrong with such handsome colorfoul patterns. You would have noticed that the center color is often different from the colors at the edges so that the pocket square matches quite easily all your suits ! I told you : they’re are perfect.
