Dockers SS 2012 Looks
Last week, we had a chance to do a streetstyle shooting for famous brand Dockers so we decided to share the pics and official lookbooks for the Spring Summer 2012 collection. We’re firm believers in chinos and light colorful shorts so we agreed to give the Dockers collection a shot. If we had to give a style tip for the summer it would be to keep it as simple as possible. It doesn’t mean you have to neglect the details like, say, a pocket square, but rather that we like it clean, effortless, comfortable and elegant.I know that the chino pants will be available at the Printemps department store while the shorts will be stored at the Gallerie Lafayette during the month. Brooks Brothers Slim Fit Oxford Fun Shirt
At Brooks Brothers, people like to say that fun began in the 70s. That’s when Ash Wall, Vice President and fifth-generation descendent of their holy founder, traded the shirt off his back for what would become one of their more accidental innovations. On a trip to the shirt factory, Ash spied a pile of shirts, all unique, and all made from no less than ten different colors of striped fabric. “Those are some fun shirts” he said, and the name stuck. Even after Archie Summers, the factory manager, told him that the shirts were made from scraps by new employees just learning to sew, Ash could not be deterred from changing into one of those fun shirts, right then and there. Looking for some fun? Look no further. You’ve found it here, right where it all began. Grab this one, this is the original.
Introducing 13 Bonaparte | New French Designer
The good thing with running a blog is that we get a chance to meet the new wave of creators. David Sarfati, who happens to be one of the nicest guys in the business, is also the mastermind behind the newcomer brand 13 Bonaparte. Funded in the fall of 2010, 13 Bonaparte is a contemporary wardrobe for men willing to play with worwear codes and appreciate subtle details. To me, the collection finds itself somewhere A.P.C. and Margiela. We love the overshirts, the sweaters, the coats, the shirts, the fabrics (you have to touch some of them to figure it out)… Well we loved many things as we had a chance to chat with David and enjoy the atmosphere of his showroom. Take an extensive look at the collection and showroom after the break and let’s pray together for 13 Bonaparte to hit the French stores soon! Read the rest of this entry »
