The Remote control Flying Car | A Kick Starter Project
Called “B,” this breathtaking flying car functions as a regular four-wheeled RC, but housed within its wheels are four propellers that with the flick of a switch can generate enough lift to turn the B car into a quadrocopter. Able to fly for around 15 minutes on a single charge, the B also has a 720p camera and microSD card slot (up to 32GB) embedded in its body for recording on-board video like the Parrot quadrocopter… Its inventor Witold Mielniczek, a PhD student, is looking to fund the project on Kickstarter so please go check it out and help him if you believe in that B project. Panasonic 20-inch 4K resolution Tablet | CES 2013
Have you already heard of the 4K technology for TV? Because 4K was actually the buzzword at the last CES in Las Vegas, it often rhymed with “TV”. Yet, Panasonic did not see it that way: they surprised everyone introducing their 20-inch Windows 8 tablet with 4K resolution! It’s very much a business-focused tool, and very much not yet a consumer-ready product, but we’re intrigued — finally, a display that outstrips the Retinas and 1080ps of the world. That being said, the idea of having a bigger tablet for domestic use is as relevant as having an iPad mini for nomad use! Will an iPad “Maxi” follow that trend? Read the rest of this entry »

Introducing the Zboard electric deck | CES 2013
Presented last week at the CES 2013, the Zboard is a weight-sensing skateboard: it basically works like a Segway – leaning forward makes you accelerate, and leaning back slows you down. The ZBoard isn’t as cumbersome as most electric bikes and scooters since it was designed by skateboarders (USC students) for skateboarders. It’s not only the most well-designed motorized skateboard but it’s portable (27 lbs) and can definitely substitute for a bike without question. Whereas you might feel like a fool riding around campus on a Segway, you’ll feel like a badass on the ZBoard! Read the rest of this entry »
Cycloramic App for iPhone
A new iPhone app released just before Christmas provides a whole new meaning to the panoramic 360-degree video shooting. Normally, shooting 360-degree video would require you to show some crafty maneuvers to spin around but with the new Cycloramic app from Egos Ventures, the iPhone will self-spin around by vibrating at certain frequencies. This allows you to capture hands-free, 360-degree video without a tripod or stand. The video above speaks for itself ! I see a nice way to impress your audience !
