Tumi x Ketel One Mixology Set

High-end suitcase maker Tumi and the booze wizards at Ketel One have teamed up to create the Tumi x Ketel One Mixology set, a mobile vodka bar that’s wrapped in ballistic nylon. This limited-edition handcrafted case features everything you need to make a Vodka Martini cocktail, including two magnum bottles of Ketel One Vodka. I imagine they went with ballistic nylon to support the bevy of drunk girls who will surely climb on top of this thing once they’ve had a couple of cosmos… Available soon Read the rest of this entry »

From the very first time I discovered the Lamborghini Aventador Black Limited Edition, then the Aventador J concept, I have always dreamed of putting an hand on one in the future! In the wake of the success of the one-million dollar black Aventador, Lamborghini came up with a new hypercar: the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster (see above). The new Aventador will feature a removable, two-piece carbon fiber top and will be powered by the same 700 pony 6.5L V12 found in its hard top sibling. Les Ateliers Ruby Castel Carbon Gunmetal “St Roc” Helmet

For their 5th anniversary, French luxury helmet brand Les Ateliers Ruby has unveiled their very first full-face helmet called the Castel. Among various color treatments, I got to saythe St Roc matte varnished carbon looks pretty awesome. Having provided a rather fashionable approach to protecting your head with collaborations from TRON to SpongeBob SquarePants through Maison Martin Margiela and Karl Lagerfeld, it is great to see we still got some young French brands  to be proud of. Available now at select retailers including the Ateliers Ruby websiteRead the rest of this entry »

Aston Martin DB5 | The “Bondmobile”

James Bond has driven a lot of fine machinery over the years. And most of them have been Aston Martins. But few have been as iconic – or as constant – as the classic DB5. The mythical Aston Martin car first appeared – complete with machine guns, revolving license plate, ejector seat and chariot-style slicing wheel knockoffs – in 1964′s Goldfinger (just one year after public official release), and has since returned to reprise the role in ThunderballGoldenEyeTomorrow Never Dies, in Casino Royale and (most recently) in Skyfall. Named after its British CEO David Brown, Aston Martin’s legendary DB series gathers some of the most refined and distinguished cars in the world and the DB5 is definitely one of them. What then makes this car the “Bondmobile“? It is British, it is elegant, it is unique and powerful (plus Bond’s DB5 got some really cool gadgets…)!  Read the rest of this entry »

La Fermette Marbeuf | Saturday Night Dinner

Right in the middle of the golden triangle of the 8th district of Paris, la Fermette Marbeuf is a belle epoque masterpiece . The staff is genuinely friendly and the food is delicious unlike several bad reviews I could read on the web. Be sure to save room for the souffle – I cannot imagine a lighter more perfectly prepared souffle, it was heaven! As some of the other reviews state, the restaurant is a little over warm, so I would also recommend layers but by all means, add this restaurant to your I-want-to-impress restaurant list. When making reservations request seating in the 1900 room although the entire restaurant is gorgeous. A classic restaurant in the poodle-chic 8th arrondissement that has been reappropriated by a younger crowd. Music label folks including the Ed Banger crew flock to the picturesque spot to eat tried and true dishes like crêpes Suzette, flambé on the spot by a lovely Mademoiselle! A good spot if you find yourself near the Champs Elysées for whatever reason. Read the rest of this entry »
