I’m dying for this Satchel from Filson right now… There’s nothing else like it. Trust me, I have been looking for a satchel-like briefcase like this one for months! I guess I eventually found the one! The craftsmanship is inspiring. Constructed from whole pieces of our vegetable tanned Bridle Leather that’s cut from the strongest part of the hide, this is a briefcase built to last a lifetime. Assembled with heavy bonded nylon thread, these are handmade in small batches in Filson‘s Seattle factory. Though this is is a real investment (the Filson Leather field Satchel actually costs $795), I’m sure it’s worth it!! Hope (when I get mine ) it will carry my essentials through the rest of my time on this earth and will probably do the same for my kids. I shouldn’t have stop at Kitsuné‘s shop Rue de Richelieu in Paris last weekend. Everything there is so tempting. Look this shawl collar cardigan for example. You could chose dozens of other brands but unsurprisingly, Kitsuné makes THE one that is hard to resist to. Flawless with a cable knit body, crushed leather buttons and tight ribbing on the cuffs and waist. With a thick shawl collar, this golden brown (photo is unfair believe me) cardigan is definitely a winter essential. Many of you now know that I suffer from frequent fashion obsessions that I only care with an extremely dangerous diet that consists in not eating for a month or two so that I can afford the garment in question. I believe this is an essential. Sure, it has to be worn with a little extra of self-confidence and not everybody can wear some skinny leather pants. But look at it ! I give it a ten out of ten on a sexyness scale. Pair it with an oversized white shirt and to me it’s just perfect ! It has a strong rock connotaion but can be worn very chic with some Louboutin/Jimmy Choo high-heels and a minimal coat… Leather loves the leopard print so the slim leather pants will be perfect with leo ballerines or a leopard-printed shirt !
