I was upset a few months ago when I missed this lookbook that had accidently been leaked on various fashion blog and then removed. I can eventually enjoy the perfect summer looks – and the beautiful model ! The shooting à la Terry Richardson reveals amazing light dresses, shorts and cool cardigans. A lot of camel, dark blue and pink mixed with retro details like club collars, blue jean vests, loose cuts and floral prints. I don’t even know where to start with these Repettos ! First of all, there is a model for both dudes and girls. Secondly, they are flat oxford in black or white (or brown since 2010) leather from the designer’s ‘Mythique’ collection. The toe is rounded, the sole is of leather except for the heel and each pair is hand-made in France. The most famous addict is Serge Gainsbourg who supposedly used 30 pairs a year just because he loved going everywhere sockless with them and feel the fine leather. The Carven 2011 Spring / Summer collection by Guillaume Henry is inspired by travel through countries like Ancient Greece, Egypt or South America. The Carven woman’s silhouette is “leggy with a pronounced waist”, that is very sexy to me. In the new collection, you’ll find a whole lot of little dresses, short shorts and awesome textured crossover skirts and sweaters like this one which I find superb ! The wool seems draped and knotted over the body. The choice of colors couldn’t be better. It’s just so student-boho chic and French. MIANSAI by Michael Andrew Saiger is a jewelry line that combines vintage styles with wartime inspirations. Michael combined his first, middle and last names to call the collection MIANSAI, so as to express his personal implication with all his creations. ”Most of my inspiration comes from objects I found at antique shows and auctions around the world.
