French jewelry house Cartier is launching its Juste un Clou line (“Just a Nail”). The modest name doesn’t hide the fact that it’s made from gold! Each bracelet and ring is shaped in a nail form, made of 18 karat white, rose or yellow gold and can be paved with diamonds. A little twist to the usual Céline minimalism with this Luggage Phantom bag. The tote is constructed mainly with one piece of leather making the bag lighter than its predecessor. What also makes Phantom new are the side straps that can be tied or buckled to make the bag less open. Also new is the additional dangling leather zip pull in the front, which to me adds a nice touch of red-neckishness. Goyard, the luxurious Parisian luggage maker founded in 1853, somehow manages to stay hip. The monogramming is easy to spot but the custom made program will let you create the format and color scheme you want so that it’s unique. Their tote is one of the most fought for bags in the galaxy but I’d rather go for a large pouch / portfolio like the one hereabove. I simply fear going to the store because I know this could be potentially dangerous for my bank account. No need to say that they propose some amazing trunks too.
