Most of the time, we, at HME, write posts about stuffs you can possibly buy, this time though we wanted to write about something you will definitely dream of… Indeed, it’s all about this amazing Mercedes: the 300SL Panamericana is a remake of the legendary Mercedes 300SL of the 50s. The idea is quite simple: drive the glorious classic with the same appeal as the original but with performance and the latest technical standard of the cars of today. What else? American company GullWing America (GWA) from San Antonio has developed this 300SL Panamericana inspired by the mythic Mercedes 300 SL “Gullwing”. That being said, many details of comfort were actually added to the new version, also added was a new 5.5-liter V8 and 408 hp engine turning the car into a pleasure and fun to drive.
