Norse Projects | Back to Baltics #1
As we’re experiencing a deeply hot summer, let’s have a fresh breeze coming from Scandinavia. Surely you’ve already heard of some of them, but we have chosen to make you a small refresher of Danish style alongside with a musical backdrop right from Greenland. Just have a glance at the post each day of this week and pick up some ideas from the Jutland for your next suitcase. Back to Baltics !
Created to improve life. Good for all seasons. That’s for Norse Projects’ motto. You might know the special pieces it designed in collaboration with Armor Lux for Colette in 2010 or with other artists like London based Daniel Frost. Today Norse Projects is widely recognized as one of Copenhagen’s finest shops. Collections are always inspired by their Danish local weather and landscapes, natural surroundings, tailoring traditions and fashion. The pieces can be described as basic and functional workwear but with a Scandinavian twist. The entire collection is designed in Denmark and constructed in Europe (mainly Portugal and Italy). To (re)introduce you to this brand, we’ve chosen famous Danish Dj Trentemøller with which the brand made a collaboration in 2011… Of course.
