Introducing Photographer Sally Mann
I’ve been looking for the name of the photographer of this amazing picture hereabove for a while now and it is by pure accident that I’ve eventually found it. It’s a she actually. Sally Mann (born 1961) is an American photographer, best known for her large black-and-white photographs—at first of her young children, then later of landscapes suggesting decay and death. As I browsed though some of her work I really fall in love with her early work with children. It is perversive and beautiful at the same time, completely out of child pornography to me but is shocking enough with candid, playful, living childs. I love it.
