Miu Miu presents a series of short movies called “The Womens’ Tales” and directed by five different female filmmakers to introduce their upcoming Spring 2011 collection. The first director is Zoe Cassavetes for “The Powder Room” featuring models Audrey Marnay, Caroline de Maigret, Sophie Vlaming and Line Gost at London’s Claridges Hotel. Together in a luxurious beauty room they are filmed in the powder room rituals. Cassavetes explains: “I love the idea of a powder room, the ritual which takes place within them is very important for women. There’s something special about preparing yourself, a moment before the action takes place. I love the sense of intimacy. It’s a place away from men, where you can check out other women, and reglamorize yourself ready to face the world again.” ! I really love the principle of using an enchanting and dramatic short film rather than small undetailed photos so check the video :
